Publication of the Science Ouverte 2024 barometer

The2024 edition of the French Open Science Barometer was recently published, along with a local version for the University of Montpellier.

Here you can find information on the open access rate of the university's publications (including by publication route, discipline, publisher, etc.), as well as the proportion of publications that mention datasets or codes and software.

The good news is that 79.5% of University of Montpellier publications published in 2022 were open access in 2023, while in 2023 this rate rose to 82%. The access rate has therefore increased by 2.5 points in one year. By way of comparison, the national average for the same year was 66.9%.
