Would you like to learn more about the key role of Wikimedia projects in the development and dissemination of open science? Nicolas Vigneron, a Wikimedian in residence at the UM’s SCD since June 1, 2026, will discuss the goals and objectives of the residency during this webinar and present the concrete contributions of Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons to making scientific knowledge more reliable, promoting it, and sharing it. Through practical examples and feedback, participants will discover how to contribute effectively to these platforms and integrate these tools into their professional practices.
