Traditional forms of researcher evaluation (impact factor, h-index) have been facing numerous limitations for years and are increasingly being called into question. The development of Open Science allows us to consider this evaluation in a different way: the openness of research is becoming a key factor in its evaluation, and alternative solutions are emerging that are more open than the traditional evaluation process.
This webinar will demonstrate the need for reform in evaluation and will review several avenues for moving towards greater openness.

As part of UM's Open Science policy, UM's research support team is launchinga series of webinarsfor the scientific community.

Theseshortworkshops(20 to 40 minutes of presentation followed by discussion) will alternate between theoretical input and practical demonstrations on open science, scientific publications, and research data.
