Traditional methods of evaluating researchers (impact factor, h-index) have faced numerous limitations for years and are increasingly being called into question. The rise of Open Science offers a new perspective on evaluation: the openness of research is becoming a key factor in its evaluation, and alternative solutions are emerging that are more open than the traditional evaluation process.
This webinar will highlight the need for evaluation reform and explore several avenues for moving toward greater openness.

As part of UM’s Open Science policy, UM’s research support team is launchinga series of webinarsfor the scientific community.

Theseshortworkshops(20 to 40 minutes of presentation followed by a discussion period) will alternate between theoretical presentations and practical demonstrations on Open Science, scientific publications, and research data.
