Event // Disseminating Scientific Knowledge: The Challenges of Open Access

The University of Montpellier is pleased to announce its participation inOpen Access Week 2026. 

From November 16 to 20, you can attend online webinars and in-person workshops on the various aspects of Open Access and the challenges of knowledge dissemination.  

Through our workshops and presentations by our speakers Vladislav Yastrebov, Lonni Besançon, Nicolas Galtier, and Nicolas Vigneron, you’ll learn about the benefits of Wikimedia for sharing your work, the challenges of disseminating knowledge without spreading fraud, how to find a “diamond” journal in which to publish, the use of the international ORCID identifier to promote your research, and many other aspects of Open Access.
