It's official: the Electronics Lab Notebook is now available at the University of Montpellier!
The Open Science and Research Support Service of the University of Montpellier’s Central Library (SCD) is proud to launch the CLE (Electronic Lab Notebook): a free, secure service open to anyone conducting research at a unit hosted by the University of Montpellier.
In practical terms, what is it used for?
- Document your research work on a daily basis;
- Ensure traceability, reproducibility, and scientific quality;
- Produce FAIR data as part of an open science initiative;
- To have proof of prior use and intellectual property rights—with the same legal validity as a paper document;
All of this with a very high level of security!
A dedicated team is here to provide you with comprehensive support: introductory seminars, training for users and administrators, sessions specifically for doctoral students, personalized support, and more…
The service is based on eLabFTW, an open-source software tool developed by Deltablot and Nicolas Carpi and Sydney Koke, which has already been adopted by the CNRS, the CEA, INRIA, INRAE, IRD, and others…
UM is joining a well-established community in higher education and research!
How do I join the department?
The unit’s management must submit a request
through the Open Science One-Stop Shop.
Please feel free to share this announcement with your fellow researchers and research unit directors whose
are under the supervision of UM!
