Getting started with DMP-OPIDoR to create your data management plan
👤The EcoDoR team
Writing a Data Management Plan can sometimes be complex or even difficult. Fortunately, there are tools available to help you write a DMP. Based on the open source code DMPRoadmap (Digital Curation Centre, University of California Curation Center) and managed by the Inist-CNRS teams, DMP-OPIDoR is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool to help you write a DMP. Recommended by the ANR and Recherche Data Gouv, it is the most widely used tool by the French-speaking community and also has an English interface.
This webinar is designed to introduce you to the interface and the different sections of the DMP-OPIDoR tool.

🏛️October 21, 2025 – 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Entity DMPs, sustainable DMPs, for whom and for what?
👤Jean-François Dufayard
The practice of DMP (Data Management Plan) is constantly evolving. Beyond the project DMP, which is limited in time, a more permanent exercise is emerging: the entity DMP. Unfortunately, this term is very generic and encompasses a variety of contexts that are very different from one another. Addressing the subject of entity DMPs raises many questions: which entities (platforms, units, etc.)? For what purposes? How can an entity DMP be distinguished from a data policy? What synergies exist with project DMPs and between entity DMPs? What recommendations can be made to those wishing to draft an entity DMP? We will address all of these questions interactively with the audience.
