Call for Nominations for the 2025 Open Science Awards: Research Data and Open-Source Research Software
The Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Committee for Open Science are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Open Science Awards.
The Open Research Data Award aims to highlight projects, researchers, and groups that are committed to exemplary practices in the management and sharing of research data. The award features several categories that recognize both the effective reuse of data from other projects and innovative initiatives in data openness and sharing.
The Open Science Award for Free Research Software aims to highlight outstanding or promising achievements, both to the general public and to the scientific community. The award features several categories to promote the various aspects that contribute to the development and use of software (scientific, technical, community-based, and documentary).
For all awards, the application period is open until noon on June 23, 2025.
