Data articles in SHS, societal issues and methodological innovations: call for papers
The editorial board of Data & Corpusan interdisciplinary data journal for the SHS, invites members of the research community to write a datapaper for publication in its first issue, due out in autumn 2025.
On March 31, 2025, a study day will be held at the MSH of the Université de Lorraine - CNRS, where the selected papers will be presented.
Thematic areas
- Data production as part of participatory or action research, in line with the " Science with and for Society " (SAPS) label.
- Methodological innovations in social sciences and humanities in a changing socio-technical context (digital humanities, artificial intelligence)
Communication proposals
- Approximately 5,000 characters (including spaces and excluding bibliographies), in .odt, .docx or .pdf format, in French.
- Title, surname, first name, e-mail address, status and institutional affiliation of (co-)authors
- Brief description of the corpus / dataset that is the subject of the article ;
- Methodological guidelines
- Mention of the data warehouse and PID allowing access to the data (private URL if repository in progress)
- Ideally, focus on the interdisciplinary dimension (data construction or potential reuse)
The calendar
- Submission of communication proposals: December 19, 2024
- Return of decisions to authors: January 31, 2025
- Study day: March 31, 2025 in Nancy
- Delivery of finished articles: June1, 2025
- Publication of the first issue of Data & Corpus in the second half of 2025
