Webinar // Opening of eLab FTW electronic laboratory notebooks at UM
In the first half of 2025, the University of Montpellier is expanding its range of services for scientists: the eLab FTW electronic laboratory notebook (CLE).
This CLE is an open-source software package accessible via the web, enabling details of scientific work to be recorded on a day-to-day basis, while guaranteeing their protection (anteriority, ownership). It facilitates the sharing of data and protocols between the various players involved in research. And it's flexible enough to adapt to widely differing research practices.
The UM's research support team will be on hand to explain how to access the service and what support is available to help you use the tool. A short demonstration of the tool will also be given.
As part of UM's Open Science policy, the UM Research Support Team is launching a series of webinars for the scientific community.
With a short format (20 to 40 min presentation, followed by time for discussion), these workshops will alternate between theoretical contributions and practical demonstrations on Open Science, scientific publications and research data.
