The French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and Aix Marseille University, via CEDRE (CEntre de formation et de soutien aux Données de la REcherche) and its SCD (Service Commun de la Documentation), have joined forces to organize the "Assises Nationales des Données de la Recherche". Assises Nationales des Données de la Recherche ".
The opening up of research data is a fundamental issue for research, supported by the Ministry as part of its policy on data, algorithms and source codes and its National Plan for Open Science. Initiated several years ago, it is gradually being extended to all types of data and is becoming an integral part of research practices. The stakes are high scientifically, politically and economically: the free circulation, sharing and reuse of data is a factor in innovation, scientific progress and confidence in science.
The conference is open to all researchers, teacher-researchers, engineers and doctoral students in both the public and private sectors.
The aim is to bring together all national players involved in the management, sharing, opening and reuse of research data. Anyone wishing to learn about best practices in data management, or to take part in a collective reflection on natively shareable and reusable data, is welcome!
